This year 6 students participated in the Entrepreneurship class. Students collaborate on a team to find solutions to a complex problem they have identified. Over the course of 22 weeks, teams leverage curiosity and creativity by identifying and researching a target market, prepare a marketing plan, and develop financials. Each team works alongside a mentor to help them learn and understand critical skills and behaviors of entrepreneurs.
Two teams presented their final pitch on May 14, with Patient Pals receiving $600 in funds to move forward with their business idea. Team members are Tiana Slusser, Ximena Gallegos, and Helena Blenista. Their mentor was Tim Tyler. Road Comfort team members, under the mentorship of Tony Tatich, are Chloe Craft, Landon Bates, and Keagen Culp.
