As some of you may have seen, the CDC has updated the COVID guidelines regarding quarantine and isolation. The Marshall County Health Department has provided us with the same guidelines. Therefore, we are implementing these new guidelines. This changes quarantine and isolation from 10 days down to 5 days, from the positive test date (not symptom onset). Please make sure to contact the school if anyone in your household is testing or has tested positive for COVID.

BEMS is looking for a few coaches for our Bremen Girls on the Run program. This program is for our 5th grade girls, and it runs from late February to early May. The group meets twice a week after school until 5 pm (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Coaches need to attend a training session and complete a background check in order to coach. Each practice session involves a lesson followed by some running. The daily lessons build on confidence and life skills, and the girls work on building their running stamina so that they can compete in the end of-the-season 5K in South Bend where all the Girls on the Run teams participate.
