BPS will be closed today (2/17) due to high water and pending weather. Due to the high school having final exams scheduled for today, we will NOT have an eLearning day. This day will be made up at the end of the school year.
The MCHD has just issued a press release indicating that as of Monday (February 21) they are changing their masking recommendations for schools to be “masks recommended”. Bremen Public Schools will follow this recommendation beginning next Tuesday as Monday is a staff development day. Please know that should cases increase dramatically and student absences become excessive, this recommendation can and most-likely will change.
The MCHD is also granting Marshall County schools flexibility in contact tracing requirements. The have asked us to continue to contact tracing and informing parents of exposed students, but we will not need to quarantine contact traced students unless they begin to show symptoms.
Due to Federal requirements, students will still be required to wear masks on our school busses.
