The Marshall County Neighborhood Center hosts an annual fun run fundraiser each year. Proceeds are used to feed needy families. If you would like to participate, I'm sure they would love to have some Bremen participation.

Bus 7 was involved in a minor accident. No students were injured. It is causing a delay in the time they will be arriving at Meijer.
K8 School pictures have been passed out and should be coming home in the next couple of days. Retakes are Wednesday, October 25th.
Middle school boys basketball skills clinics
For boys interested in playing basketball in grades 5-8 this winter, there will be 2 optional skills clinics offered by the high school coaching staff to jump start the season. No registration needed, no cost. Players should enter the school at Door 15 by the weight room, and we will plan on working out in high school Gym B.

Seniors and Senior Families,
I am attaching the Senior Celebration Day Flyer. The QR code in the bottom right hand corner can be used to order all of your senior gear. You may also order by phone at 574-216-6336, or online at jostens.com. All seniors MUST order a cap and gown for graduation. The group deadline to order is Oct 9th. Delivery for most senior items will be Oct 16th at lunch. Cap and Gown delivery will be in the spring, as well as graduation announcements. What makes a healthy lunch?
Did your child take all the available meal components that make up a tray? If he or she did, do you know that it consist of the 5 Main food groups? All your child has to do is take 3 of the components, and 1 must be a fruit or vegetable, but for best nutrition they can choose all 5. Yesterday's tray consist of 2 Bosco Stick's = 2 Meat & 2 Whole grain, Vegetable= 1/2 cup Corn, 1/2 cup Brussel Sprouts , 1/2 cup Marinara Sauce , Fruit= 1/2 cup Peaches, Dairy= 8 oz. Milk and a Treat= Fruit Snack. We also offer a Peanut Butter & Jelly Uncrustables w/ Goldfish Crackers and String Cheese along with the other sides for the day's menu. Hopefully your children are taking advantage of all the options available and getting part of their nutritional needs met here at school.
